India Recypa Private Limited is the first professionally managed company in India in the sector of used/waste paper trading, collection, procurement, storage and supply for recycling purposes only. It was incorporated as a Joint Venture between UPM Kymmene (Finland) and Anika International (India) in year 2007. The role of the company is to support Indian Paper Manufacturing Companies in procuring raw materials from overseas as well as domestic markets and also has the objective of developing a suitable policy framework to define the obligations of producers and users, to sensitize the citizens to segregate, collect and reuse waste paper in the country and to evolve a sustainable, workable mechanism for achieving a significant level of recovery of waste paper in India.
